Sunsejoy is a small-batch skincare brand and essential oil workshop experience based in Austin, Texas. Everything here is built around one genuine love for plants, what they are capable of, and sharing that knowledge with people who are ready to learn.
The skincare line is waterless by design, meaning every formula is concentrated with botanical oils, essential oils, and earth-derived ingredients that actually do something for your skin. No fillers, no synthetic fragrance, no ingredients that are just there to take up space. Bottled in UV-protective glass and made in small batches so nothing sits on a shelf longer than it should.
The workshops bring that same philosophy into a room full of people. We blend, we learn, and everyone walks away with something they made themselves and the confidence to keep going at home. Essential oils are not intimidating when someone takes the time to actually explain them. That is exactly what we do.

Founder Story

I have always been someone who loves plants. Not in a casual way. In the way where you find yourself reading about an ingredient at midnight just because you want to understand it. Where you trust a botanical before you trust most things on a store shelf. That curiosity has been with me my whole life, and eventually it became something I could share.
Becoming a mother to my daughter Sage in 2021 changed me. I do not say that lightly. Motherhood made me more intentional, more patient, and honestly a better person. It also made me look at the world differently, including what I was willing to put on her skin and mine. I found myself reading every label and trusting very few of them. So I kept making my own.
I started making my own skincare because I needed it to exist. I wanted products built around real ingredients, concentrated, intentional, and clean. I wanted to use essential oils not as fragrance, but for what they actually do. Aromatherapy has always been part of how I take care of myself, and that love is woven into everything I make and everything I teach.
Sunsejoy became a business because I wanted to build something of my own. Something made with care, from someone who genuinely knows what is in every single bottle and why it is there. But it became something bigger than products when I started bringing people together to learn about essential oils firsthand. Watching someone blend for the first time and walk away confident, with something they made themselves, is one of my favorite things.
In 2023, I started sharing what I had been making for over a decade. And here we are.
The name Sunsejoy is personal to me. Sun for the energy I try to bring to everything I make. Se(a) for the calm and the life I find in nature. Joy for what this work actually gives me.
Every product and every workshop comes from the same place. A genuine love of plants, a belief in clean ingredients, and the joy of sharing what I know with people who are ready to learn. That is what Sunsejoy is. That is who I am.
